The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), a premier deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, has invited applications for multiple project-based positions under the project titled “Independent Monitoring and Supervision of Primary Health Care Provisioning through Health and Wellness Centers in the State of Uttarakhand.”

This project is part of the Ayushman Arogya Mandir initiative and aims to strengthen primary healthcare monitoring and supervision across various districts of Uttarakhand. 

About the Project

The project focuses on improving the delivery and monitoring of primary health care services through Health and Wellness Centers (HWCs) in Uttarakhand. It involves close collaboration with the State Health Department, district officials, and other health sector stakeholders.

If you are selected under this recruitment you will contribute to program coordination, field research, data analysis, financial management, and overall project supervision.

Detailed Job Descriptions

1. Program Coordinator (10 Posts – Uttarakhand)

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Hospital Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in project implementation.

Desired Skills:

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preference will be given to candidates from medical backgrounds such as MBBS/BDS/BUMS/BAMS.

Key Responsibilities:

• You are coordinate with district-level program executives.
• You can support block teams in program implementation and monitoring.
• You can develop new ideas to improve field-level performance.
• You can conduct training, reporting, and evaluation activities.
• You can prepare monthly progress and intervention reports.
• You can build collaborations with public and private health stakeholders.
• You can perform administrative duties at the block level and undertake field visits across districts.

Salary: ₹65,000 per month (gross)
Location: Uttarakhand

2. Data Analyst (1 Post – Mumbai)

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Geography, Data Science, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or allied fields.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, preferably in the health/development sector.

Desired Skills:

• Strong skills in SPSS/Stata/R, database management, MS Excel, and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience handling large datasets and developing dashboards and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• You can collect, clean, and manage datasets from field teams.
• You can conduct statistical analysis and prepare analytical reports.
• You can develop dashboards, visualizations, and infographics.
• You can support training sessions on data reporting tools.
• You can contribute to publications, policy briefs, and research documentation.

Salary: ₹60,500 per month (gross)
Location: Mumbai

3. Field Investigator (29 Posts – Uttarakhand)

Essential Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline.

Desired Profile/Skills:

• Minimum two years of field or project experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• You can assist in implementing health programs at the field level.
• You can monitor progress, collect data, and support block-level operations.
• You can prepare reports and contribute to field evaluations.
• You can work closely with block coordinators and local health officials.
• You can engage in community-level supervision and feedback collection.

Salary: ₹35,000 per month (gross)
Location: Uttarakhand

4. Accountant (1 Post – Mumbai)

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accountancy, or Allied Sciences.
• Minimum two years of experience in finance or accounts management.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in financial documentation and reporting.
• Good communication and writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• You can manage project financial transactions and reporting.
• You can support budgeting and expense tracking for district and block teams.
• You can prepare financial statements and assist in audits.
• You can draft financial performance reports and ensure compliance.
• You can coordinate with project teams for all financial matters.

Salary: ₹45,000 per month (gross)

5. Research Officer (1 Post – Mumbai)

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Geography, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or Economics.

Desired Skills:

• Expertise in SPSS/Stata, database management, and MS Excel.
• Skilled in visualization tools and report preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• You can support administrative and research functions of the project.
• You can assist in data analysis, documentation, and monitoring.
• You can manage schedules, logistics, and reporting.
• You can contribute to research publications and coordination tasks.

Salary: ₹45,000 per month (gross)
Location: Mumbai

⏳ Duration of Appointment

The appointment for all positions is for 6 months, i.e., until March 2026, and may be extended based on performance and project requirements.
