Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
You must have passed:
- 10th Class (SSC) and
- ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.
Age Limit (as on 15.11.2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age:
- General: 25 years
- OBC: 28 years
- SC/ST: 30 years
(Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.)
Other Conditions:
- If you have already completed or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 are not eligible.
- You are with Post-Graduation you are not eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
- Shortlisting of you:
- You will be scrutinized by the Selection Committee of NFC.
- Shortlisting will be done based on your merit (percentage of marks in qualifying exams).
- Selection for Most Trades:
- You (except Electrician) will be selected purely on the basis of marks obtained in their ITI course.
- In case of a tie, marks of 10th/SSC will be used as a tiebreaker.
- Selection for Electrician Trade:
- Selection will be based on an interview.
- Final Selection:
- If you are selected you will be informed via email.
- They must report to NFC, Hyderabad for document verification and joining.
Stipend
You will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961:
- ₹10,560 per month for most technical trades
- ₹9,600 per month for trades like COPA, Welder, Carpenter, etc.
