Job Description

The CSIR–CSMCRI invites applications in the prescribed format from eligible you are a  ITI, Diploma, and Graduate Engineering for various Apprentice positions.

You will be engaged in different technical and trade fields under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The training will provide practical exposure in industrial, laboratory, and engineering operations related to mechanical, electrical, civil, instrumentation, electronics, and IT domains.

The objective of the apprenticeship program is to nurture skill development, provide industrial experience, and prepare candidates for future employment in government or private sectors.

Trade-Wise Vacancy Details

Vacancies under Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (RDSDE), Gandhinagar)

Total (RDSDE Trades): 35 Vacancies

Vacancies under Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), Mumbai)

Total (BOAT Trades): 08 Vacancies

Grand Total: 43 Apprentice Positions (Tentative)

Educational Qualification

You must have completed your ITI / Diploma / Graduate Degree in the relevant trade or branch from a recognized institution within the last three years (2022–2025).

Additionally:

• You must not have undergone any previous apprenticeship training.
• You must be registered on the Apprenticeship Portal (as per their category – ITI or Graduate/Diploma).

Eligibility Criteria

Salary / Stipend

If you are selected you will receive a monthly stipend as per the Government of India Apprenticeship Rules, 1961:

No additional allowances or benefits will be provided. Stipend is fixed as per central norms.

Documents Required

You must attach self-attested copies of the following documents with the application form:

1. SSC (10th) Marksheet
2. HSC (12th) Marksheet (if applicable)
3. ITI / Diploma / Degree Certificates and Mark Sheets
4. Proof of Date of Birth
5. Aadhaar Card
6. Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
7. Printout of registration profile from the Apprenticeship Portal
8. Recent passport-size photograph (signed and pasted on the form)

Selection Process

The selection process for CSIR–CSMCRI Apprentice Recruitment 2025–26 includes:

1. Scrutiny of Applications
   All applications will be screened by the institute based on eligibility and academic performance.
2. Shortlisting
   If you are shortlisted you will be called for the interview through email or speed post.
3. Interview
   Personal/online interviews will be conducted by CSMCRI officials to you are finalize.
4. Document Verification
   Original documents must be produced at the time of verification.

Final selection will depend on merit, trade availability, and institute’s training requirements.

For Diploma / Graduate Candidates:

1. You can visit https://nats.education.gov.in.
2. You can register as a “Student” under BOAT Apprenticeship Scheme.
3. You can fill your academic details and upload documents.
4. You can take a printout of your registration details.
5. You can attach the registration proof with your application form.
6. You can submit the form to the same address before the deadline.

• You must register on the respective Apprenticeship Portal before applying.
• Only those registered candidates will be considered.
• The application form must be filled in BLOCK letters and signed by the applicant.
• Incomplete applications or those without proper documents will be rejected.
• Ensure the application reaches before 5:00 PM on 02.12.2025.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending interviews.
