Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility is divided into three major sections:
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
No age relaxation allowed for any category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD).
Educational Qualification
The required qualification varies by Pay Level:

- Asian Games (Senior)
- Commonwealth Games (Senior)
- Youth Olympics
- Davis Cup / Thomas/Uber Cup
- World University Games
- Senior/Junior/Youth National Championships
B. For Level 2 & 3
Any of the following:
- 3rd position in Commonwealth/Asian Championships (Junior/Youth/Senior)
- 3rd position in National Championships
- 3rd position in National Games
- 3rd position in All-India Inter University Championships
- 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
Additional Acceptable Norms (Sports Specific)
Some sports have special additional criteria:
Badminton & Table Tennis:
- Based on current annual All India Ranking
- For Seniors → Top 20 ranking
- For Youth → Top 8
- For Juniors → Top 8
Cricket:
- Participation in India-A, India U-19, Domestic List-A, T-20, One Day matches
Volleyball, Handball, Hockey:
- Certificates must be issued by relevant recognized National Sports Federations
