Job Description

Nursing Officers in DRRMLIMS will:

• Provide nursing care to patients in wards, ICUs, Emergency, and specialty units.
• Assist doctors in procedures, rounds, and daily treatment plans.
• Maintain patient records and nursing documentation.
• Participate in infection control activities.
• Administer medications safely.
• Perform health assessments and provide patient education.
• Work in shifts including night duties.
• Follow hospital protocols and quality care procedures.

Salary Details

Nursing Officers will receive Pay Level-7:

Salary Structure:

• Basic Pay: ₹44,900
• DA: As applicable (currently 58% as per PDF)
• HRA: As per Govt norms
• Other Allowances: As per UP Govt rules

Qualification

You must meet either Option 1 or Option 2:

Option 1:

• B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing
  OR
• B.Sc Nursing
  OR
• B.Sc (Post Certificate)
  OR
• Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

AND

• Registered with State/Indian Nursing Council.

Option 2:

• Diploma in GNM
• Registered with State/Indian Nursing Council
• Two years experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital

Certificates must be valid and issued by recognized institutions.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years

Age Relaxations:

• OBC / SC / ST (UP Domicile): +5 years
• PwBD (General): +5 years
• PwBD (OBC/SC/ST): +10 years
• Government Employees: +5 years
• Ex-Servicemen / Freedom Fighter Dependents: As per govt rules

Selection Process

The selection will take place in two stages, both online:

Stage 1: Screening Examination

• Qualifying only (marks not added in final merit)
• 100 MCQs
• 2 hours duration

  • 10 – Reasoning
  • 10 – Math Aptitude

Stage 2: Main Examination

Only candidates 10 times the vacancy count (i.e., 4220 candidates approx.) will be called for Mains.

If two candidates obtain the same score, the following rules apply:

1. Higher total marks
2. Older age
3. Fewer negative answers
4. Higher score in core subject section
5. Earlier application number
