• For Level-9A — B.Arch or a 4-year Degree in allied subjects with First Class.
• For Level-10 — Bachelor + Master in relevant disciplines with First Class.

C. Workshop Superintendent

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class
• Level-10 requires Master’s & Bachelor’s Degrees with First Class in one of the two.

D. Lecturer (Non-Engineering)

Subjects:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• English

Qualification:

• Master’s degree in appropriate subject with First Class

“Appropriate subject” refers to related disciplines as recognized by U.P. Technical Education Service Rules 2021.

Preferential Qualifications

You  are equal in merit:

1. Two years of Territorial Army service, OR
2. ‘B’ certificate of NCC

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years (as of 01 July 2025)
  → Not before 02 July 1985 and not after 01 July 2004

Age Relaxation

• SC / ST / OBC of U.P — +5 years
• Skilled players of classified games — +5 years
• State Govt employees (UP) — +5 years
• PH candidates — up to 55 yrs max
• Ex-Army, Emergency/Short Service Officers — 3 years + service period

Reservation

Reservation applicable only to Uttar Pradesh domiciles.

Selection Procedure

The recruitment has a two-stage selection:

Stage 1 — Written Examination

• Conducted across multiple districts in UP.

Negative Marking:

• 0.33 marks deducted per wrong answer

• Unattempted = no penalty

Stage 2 — Interview
