NABARD Young Professional Program 2025–26 – Complete Detailed Guide (Advertisement No.07)
The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), India’s apex development financial institution fully owned by the Government of India, has released Advertisement No.07 inviting online applications for engagement of Young Professionals (YP) on a contractual basis for the year 2025–26.
This program offers a prestigious opportunity for you are a young graduate and postgraduate to work directly with NABARD in critical domains such as Climate Action, Economics, Data Science, Cyber Security, Finance, Information Technology, Development Management, Project Monitoring, Graphic Designing, UI/UX, Software Testing, PR & Outreach, Academic Administration, and Geoinformatics.
The engagement is purely contractual and is designed to provide hands-on exposure to policy research, programme evaluation, data-driven decision making, IT systems, finance and rural development initiatives at NABARD’s Head Office and Regional Offices across India.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Experience
You must possess the required educational qualification and minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as on 01 November 2025. The detailed post-wise qualification is given in Annexure – I of the notification.

- UI/UX Designing / Software Testing / Graphic Design / Digital Media
Only one discipline and one location can be applied for. Multiple applications will lead to cancellation.
Age & Nationality
- You must be an Indian citizen.
- Age Limit: 21 to 30 years as on 01 November 2025.
- Date of Birth must be between 01-11-1995 and 01-11-2004.
Duration of Engagement
- Initial contract period: 1 year
- Extendable up to maximum 3 years based on performance and organizational requirement.
Monthly Remuneration
- ₹70,000 per month (All Inclusive)
- Income tax or any other applicable taxes will be deducted at source.
Selection Process
Selection will be done through a two-stage process:
1. Application Screening
You will be screened by a Screening Committee based on:
- Academic performance
- Relevance of work experience
- Overall profile
- Statement of Intent
2. Interview + Presentation
If you are shortlisted you will appear before the Young Professional Selection Committee (YPSC).
Final selection will be based on combined marks of Presentation and Interview.
Interview Location
Interviews will be conducted at the respective NABARD Regional Offices of the State for which vacancies are announced.
Legal Status
- Young Professionals are engaged on contractual basis only.
- They are not employees of NABARD.
- They will have no right to claim permanent employment.
- Full-time engagement only – no other job or assignment allowed.
