Vacancies are distributed state-wise and include reservations for:

4. Eligibility Criteria

4.1 Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years

4.2 Educational Qualification

For Development Assistant

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
• Minimum 50% marks (Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen)
• Knowledge of computer/word processing

For Development Assistant (Hindi)

• Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi & English
• Ability to translate Hindi ↔ English
• Knowledge of computer applications

4.3 Language Proficiency Requirement

Candidates must be able to:

• Read
• Write
• Speak
• Understand

the official language of the state they apply for.

If not proven through 10th/12th marksheets → Language Proficiency Test (LPT) is mandatory.

5. Reservation Rules

• OBC candidates must produce Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued after 01-04-2025
• EWS certificate must be valid for 2025–26
• PwBD candidates must have minimum 40% disability
• Reservation is applied state-wise

6. Selection Process

The selection process has THREE stages:

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Online)

(Qualifying only)

For Development Assistant

Stage 2: Main Examination (Online)

(Marks counted for final merit)

Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.

Stage 3: Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

• Qualifying in nature
• Mandatory if language proof not submitted earlier

7. Final Merit List

• Based ONLY on Main Examination marks
• Prepared state-wise
• Tie-breaker rules:
  1. Higher qualification
  2. Higher graduation marks
  3. Older age

Basic Pay

Gross Monthly Salary

• Approx ₹46,500 per month
