ESIC Advocate Empanelment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for M.M. Court should have at least 5 years of professional/court practice experience in various Courts/Tribunals as on 1 July 2026.

The Regional Director, ESIC RO Maharashtra, may relax the experience requirement or prescribe additional qualifications/conditions where considered appropriate.

ESIC Advocate Empanelment 2026 – Tenure

The panel will ordinarily be constituted for a period of three years. Therefore, the notification covers the 2026–2029 period.

However, ESIC may discontinue the panel before expiry for reasons recorded in writing. The existing panel may also continue until the new panel is constituted to ensure that ongoing litigation is not affected.

Selection Process

This is an empanelment process, not a conventional government recruitment examination.

The selection process broadly includes:

1. Submission of application in prescribed format.
2. Scrutiny of applications and supporting documents.
3. Shortlisting by ESIC.
4. Interaction with shortlisted Advocates, wherever required.
5. Final selection/empanelment.
6. Issue of empanelment communication.
