IOB Security Guard Job Profile
The selected Security Guards will be responsible for protecting the Bank’s premises, personnel and property. Their duties include watching and guarding Bank premises against unauthorized entry, attack, assault, infiltration and unauthorized removal of Bank property.

Candidates must compulsorily pass each of the four physical fitness tests with the prescribed minimum marks. The test will be conducted at Chennai, and only one attempt is permitted for each physical fitness test.
For the 1-kilometre run, candidates completing the run in less than four minutes receive 30 marks, while timings of 4–5 minutes and 5–6 minutes receive 20 and 10 marks respectively. A time of more than six minutes is treated as a failure.
Before the Physical Fitness Test, candidates have to undergo a medical fitness examination and submit a medical fitness certificate from a medical practitioner with the required registration/rank. The certificate should not be more than 15 days old on the date of the Physical Fitness Test.
