The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released an official notification inviting online applications from eligible you are domicile of the North Eastern states — Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura — for recruitment to Non-Executive posts in its North Eastern Region airports.

This recruitment includes the following posts:

• Senior Assistant (Electronics)
• Junior Assistant (HR)
• Junior Assistant (Fire Services)

• PwBD candidates are not eligible for Fire Services due to physical nature of duties.

 Eligibility Criteria

Post Code 01 – Senior Assistant (Electronics)

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma in Electronics / Telecommunication / Radio Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Selection Process:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) – 2 hours
2. Document Verification

Exam Syllabus:

• 70%: Diploma-level technical subjects
• 30%: GK, Reasoning, Aptitude, English
  Minimum Passing Marks:
• 50% for UR/EWS/OBC
• 40% for SC/ST

Training:

• 12 weeks Ab-Initio Training
• 4 weeks On-the-Job Training
• Stipend: ₹25,000/month
• Bond applicable during training

Post Code 02 – Junior Assistant (HR)

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate (any discipline)

Selection Process:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
2. Computer Literacy Test in MS Office (Qualifying only)
3. Document Verification

Exam Syllabus:

• 50%: Graduation-level HR/General Studies
• 50%: GK, Reasoning, Aptitude, English
  Minimum Passing Marks:
• UR/OBC/EWS: 50%
• SC/ST/PwBD: 40%

Post Code 03 – Junior Assistant (Fire Services)

Educational Qualification:

Any of the following:

10th Pass + 3-Year Diploma in

• Mechanical
• Automobile
• Fire Engineering

OR

12th Pass (Regular Study)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Computer Science in 12th
• NCC ‘B’ Certificate
• Fire Service Experience
• Basic Fire Fighting Course (AAI)
• Sub-Fire Officer Course (NFSC, Nagpur)

Mandatory Driving License:

You must have ONE of:

• Heavy Vehicle License
• Medium Vehicle License (1 year old as of 06/12/2025)
• LMV License (2 years old)

Learning License not accepted.

Physical Standards (Male & Female)

Height:

• Male: 167 cm
• Female: 157 cm

(Hilly area candidates: 3 cm relaxation)

Weight:

• Male: ≥ 55 kg
• Female: ≥ 45 kg

Chest (Male Only):

• 81 cm normal, 5 cm expansion

Disqualifications:

• Knock knees
• Bow legs
• Flat feet
• Color blindness
• Night blindness
• Squint
• Physical deformities

 Selection Process – Fire Services

Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

• 2 hours
• 50% technical; 50% GK/Reasoning/English
• Minimum passing marks: UR/OBC/EWS = 50%, SC/ST = 40%

Stage 2:

Includes:

1. Biometric Verification
2. Document Verification
3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
4. Medical Test
5. Driving Test
6. Physical Endurance Test (PET)

PET Events (Male & Female)

Must score minimum 60/100.

Events include:

• 100m running
• Carrying sandbag
• Rope climbing
• Pole climbing
• Ladder climbing
