Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• You must have a Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS/DM/MCh) in their respective discipline from a recognized university/institute.
• You have passed or will be completing their qualifying exam by 30th November 2025 are eligible to apply.

You have already completed three years of residency under any Central Residency Scheme are not eligible.

Additional Requirements

• Compulsory Residency Period:
  • 1095 days for MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh courses.
  • 730 days for secondary DNB degrees.
• Medical Registration:
  • Valid registration from MCI/State Medical Council is mandatory.
• Applicants from Government Institutions:
  • Must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age Limit: 45 years (as on the last date of application – 27.11.2025)

Pay Scale

• Salary: ₹67,700/- per month (Level 11, Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) + NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance) + Other allowances as per AIIMS rules.

This salary includes Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Transport Allowance applicable as per central government norms.

Reservation of Posts

Reservation is applicable as per Central Government rules:

• SC / ST / OBC / EWS candidates are eligible for reservation benefits.
• 4% reservation is provided for PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) including Orthopedically Handicapped candidates.

• The final merit list will be based on combined marks from the written test and interview.
