Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy one of the following qualifications:
Option 1:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing
OR - Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
From an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized institute
AND - Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council
Option 2:
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM)
From a recognized institute
AND - Registered as Nurse & Midwife
- Minimum 2 years experience in a 50 bedded hospital
Experience must be acquired after completion of qualification and registration.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age will be calculated as on the last date of online application (16 March 2026).

Selection Process
NORCET-10 will be conducted in two stages:
Stage I – NORCET Preliminary
- 100 MCQs
- 90 Minutes
- 1 Mark each
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark
- 20 Questions: GK & Aptitude
- 80 Questions: Nursing Subjects
Qualifying Percentile:
- UR/EWS – 50%
- OBC – 45%
- SC/ST – 40%
- PwBD – 5% Relaxation
Stage I is qualifying only.
Stage II – NORCET Mains
- 160 MCQs
- 180 Minutes
- 1 Mark each
- Negative Marking: 1/3
- Nursing Subject Based
- Case Scenario Questions
Final Merit will be based on Stage II score only.
