Educational Qualifications

You must possess the following educational qualifications as per post and department type:

For Medical Candidates

• Essential Qualification: A recognized MBBS degree with MD/MS, DM/MCh, or equivalent qualification in the respective discipline from a recognized institution under the NMC Act / MCI Act.
• Teaching/Research Experience:
  • Professor: Minimum 14 years post-qualification teaching/research experience.
  • Additional Professor: Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of experience.
  • Assistant Professor: Minimum 3 years of experience after postgraduate qualification.

For Non-Medical Candidates (For Basic Sciences Only)

• M.Sc. + Ph.D. in the concerned subject (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, etc.) from a recognized university.
• Research experience and publications in indexed journals are essential.

You are with a DNB/DrNB qualifications You will also be considered equivalent to MD/MS as per NMC norms.

• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Central / State Govt Employees: As per GOI norms
