Educational Qualifications

A. Graduate Apprentice

• B.E / B.Tech in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).

B. Technician (Diploma) Apprentice

• Diploma in Engineering in relevant trade from a technical board recognized by the State/ Central government.

C. Trade Apprentice (ITI)

• ITI Passed in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.

Stipend (Salary) Details

As per Apprentices Act:

Graduate Apprentice

₹9,000 – ₹9,500 per month

Diploma Apprentice

₹8,000 – ₹8,500 per month

Trade Apprentice

₹7,000 – ₹7,700 per month

In addition, apprentices:

• Do not receive allowances such as HRA, DA, TA.
• Receive statutory benefits under the Apprentices Act.

Training Period

The apprenticeship duration is ONE YEAR as per the act.

• No reduction or extension allowed except under special provisions.
• Certificate of Apprenticeship will be issued only after successful completion.

Selection Procedure

Merit List Based Selection

Selection is strictly based on merit, calculated from:

For Graduate Apprentices:

• Percentage of marks in B.E/B.Tech Final Year
• Overall aggregate may also apply

For Diploma Apprentices:

For ITI Trade Apprentices:
