ECHS Contractual Staff Recruitment 2026 – Apply for Medical, Paramedical & Non-Medical Posts in Delhi Cantt, Noida & Gurugram

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) under the Government of India, Ministry of Defence has released an official employment notice for the engagement of Medical, Paramedical and Non-Medical Staff on contractual basis for the year 2026–27.

This recruitment is being conducted by Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Delhi Cantt for multiple ECHS Polyclinics located in:

• Delhi Cantt
• Dwarka
• Lodhi Road
• Timarpur
• Shakur Basti
• Sohna Road
• Dundahera (Gurugram)
• Noida Sector-37
• Noida Sector-82
• Greater Noida

The appointment is purely contractual for one year, renewable for another one year based on performance and eligibility conditions, subject to maximum age limits.

Important Dates

Nature of Appointment

• Contractual basis – 1 year, extendable to maximum of 2 years.
• No TA/DA will be paid for interview.
• Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen (ESM).
• Individual once appointed cannot request transfer of ECHS establishment within first 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria – Post Wise

1. Officer In-Charge (OIC)

• Only retired Service Officers from Indian Army / Navy / Air Force.
• Must be drawing pension through CDA.
• Record of Service mandatory.

2. Medical Specialist

• MD / MS / DNB in concerned specialty.
• Minimum 03 years experience after PG.

3. Gynaecologist

• MD / MS / DNB in Gynaecology.
• Minimum 03 years experience after PG.

4. Medical Officer

• MBBS Degree.
• Minimum 03 years experience after internship.

5. Dental Officer

• BDS Degree.
• Minimum 03 years experience.

6. Dental Assistant / Hygienist

• Diploma in Dental Hygienist (Class-I DH / DORA course from Armed Forces).
• Minimum 05 years experience.

7. Lab Technician

• B.Sc (MLT) OR 10+2 with Science + DMLT.
• Minimum 03 years experience as Lab Assistant in Medical Lab.

8. Lab Assistant

• DMLT / Class-I Lab Tech course (Armed Forces).
• Minimum 05 years experience.

9. Pharmacist

• B.Pharm OR 10+2 with PCB + Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist.
• Minimum 03 years experience.

10. Nursing Assistant

• GNM Diploma / Class-I Nursing Assistant (Armed Forces).
• Minimum 05 years experience.

11. Physiotherapist

• Diploma / Class-I Physiotherapy course (Armed Forces).
• Minimum 05 years experience.

12. IT / Network Technician

• Diploma / Certificate in IT / Networking / Computer Application.
• Minimum 02 years experience.

13. Clerk

• Graduate / Class-I Clerical Trade (Armed Forces).
• Minimum 05 years experience.

14. Data Entry Operator

• Class-I Clerical Trade (Armed Forces).
• Minimum 05 years experience.

15. Receptionist

• Class-I Clerical Trade (Armed Forces).
• Minimum 05 years experience.

16. Driver

• Education: 8th Class / Class-I Driver Trade (Armed Forces).
• Must possess valid LMV Driving Licence.
• Minimum 05 years experience.

17. Chowkidar / Peon / Female Attendant / Safaiwala

• Education: 8th Class / Literate.
• Minimum 05 years experience in relevant field.

• Discharge Book
• ESM I-Card
• Release Order
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Educational Certificates
• Medical / Dental Council Registration Certificate
• Work / ECHS Experience Certificate
• NOC from current employer (if applicable)
• Driving Licence (for Driver post)
• Attempt Certificate & Year-wise Mark Sheets for MBBS/BDS
• 2 Passport size photographs

Medical Fitness Certificate

You must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate signed by MO with stamp and countersigned by SEMO / CMO confirming fitness as on 01 February 2026.
