Educational Qualification
Educational qualifications vary according to the post:
- Principal: Master’s Degree with B.Ed. and relevant experience in educational administration.
- PGTs / TGTs: Graduation or Post-Graduation in the relevant subject with B.Ed. from a recognized university.
- Hostel Warden: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Female Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Accountant: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
- JSA (Junior Secretariat Assistant): 12th pass with typing proficiency.
- Lab Attendant: 10th pass with science background.

Selection Process
The selection process under EMRS ESSE-2025 will consist of Tier I and Tier II examinations:
Tier I – Objective Test
This will be an OMR-based / Computer-Based Test containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) on:
- General Awareness
- Reasoning & Numerical Ability
- Teaching Aptitude
- Subject Knowledge
- Language Competency (English & Hindi)
For most posts, the Language Competency Test will be of qualifying nature — marks will not be counted for merit but must be cleared.
Tier II – Descriptive / Skill Test
- For Principal and PGTs, Tier II will include Descriptive and Subject-Specific questions.
- For JSA, a Typing Skill Test will be conducted (qualifying in nature).
- Personal Interviews will be held for Principal posts.
- The total duration for Tier II will be 3 hours.
Final selection will depend on marks obtained in both tiers and subject to document verification.

- General / OBC / EWS: ₹2000 for Principal, ₹1500 for Teaching posts, ₹1000 for Non-Teaching posts
- SC / ST / PwBD / Female candidates: No fee
