ESIC Medical College Faridabad Recruitment 2025 – Walk-in Interview for Teaching Faculty Posts

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College & Hospital, Faridabad, under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, has announced a new Recruitment Advertisement (File No: 134/A-14/13/Roster/2016/Admin Date: 05.11.2025) inviting you are a eligible for Teaching Faculty (Broad Specialty Departments) posts on a contract basis.

The recruitment will be done through a Walk-in Interview scheduled for 12th November 2025. The engagement will initially be for one year, which can be extended annually based on performance and approval from competent authorities.

The recruitment is open for Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors in multiple departments of the college. Vacancies are distributed across categories including UR, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS.

Note: Some unreserved candidates are already working against reserved seats for 39 days. If you are from the respective reserved category appears, you will be considered first as per government norms.

Important Instructions

1. Vacancies may increase or decrease as per actual requirements for teaching and patient care.
2. The competent authority reserves the right to modify, cancel, or change the recruitment advertisement without prior notice.
3. Reservation will be as per Government of India rules and guidelines.
4. In case of non-availability of suitable reserved category, engagement may be made for 39 days tenure on merit basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 12.11.2025)

• Maximum Age: 69 years
• Engagement will be up to 70 years of age or till completion of tenure (whichever is earlier).

Educational Qualification

As per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC) and Medical Council of India (MCI) norms:

• Professor: MD/MS/DNB in relevant subject with requisite teaching experience.
• Associate Professor: MD/MS/DNB with minimum 4 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor.
• Assistant Professor: MD/MS/DNB in concerned specialty from recognized university.

You must have:

• Updated Medical Registration Certificate (NMC/State Medical Council).
• Proof of research publications, if applicable.

Salary and Pay Scale

Salary and benefits will be as per ESIC Headquarters Office Memorandum No. Z-11012/51/2022-MED-VI dated 08.12.2022 and subsequent updates.

Tenure and Contract Terms

• Initial contract period: 1 year
• Extendable yearly based on satisfactory performance and approval.
• Maximum engagement age: 70 years.
• Contract termination:
  • On appointment of a regular faculty
  • Or on attaining the age of 70 years
  • Or on misconduct/public interest as decided by competent authority

🔸 Resignation Terms

• One-month advance notice required.
• Failure to serve notice will lead to forfeiture of one-month salary and security deposit.

🔸 Other Rules

• No entitlement for PF, Pension, Gratuity, or Promotion.
• Hostel accommodation may be provided (subject to availability).
• No private practice allowed.

Security Deposit

Security deposit is to be paid via Demand Draft in favor of “ESI Fund A/c No.1” payable at Faridabad.

If a faculty resigns within six months, the deposit will be forfeited.

Application Fee

Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Selection Process

Selection will be purely based on academic qualifications, experience, and interview performance.

Steps:

1. Document Verification
   • You must bring self-attested copies and original documents on the interview date.
   • Verification will be done before the interview.
2. Interview
   • Conducted by a duly constituted selection board.
   • Based on academic credentials and teaching/research experience.
3. Result Announcement
   • Results will be published on the ESIC website: https://www.esic.gov.in
   • Offer letters will be sent via email.

If you are selected you must join as per the instructions in their offer of appointment.

You must bring one set of self-attested photocopies along with originals of the following documents:

1. 10th Certificate (Date of Birth proof)
2. MBBS Mark Sheets, Degree, Attempt Certificates
3. MD/MS/DNB Certificates
4. Valid Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD as applicable)
5. Updated Medical Registration (NMC/State Council)
6. Proof of Research Publications
7. Experience Certificates
8. Passport Size Photograph
9. NOC/Relieving Certificate from Employer (if applicable)
10. Aadhaar Card
11. ICMR/NMC-approved Biomedical Research Course Certificate (if any)
12. Basic Course in Medical Education Certificate (if any)

Failure to produce required documents will disqualify you are  from appearing in the interview.

3. Attach self-attested copies of required documents.
4. Bring the completed application form and documents on the day of Walk-in Interview (12.11.2025).
