Total Vacancies – 250 Posts

Engineering Disciplines Eligible
Graduate Engineers in the following streams are eligible:
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering

- Computer Science / IT
Equivalent degrees as listed in the advertisement (including integrated and specialized branches) are also accepted.
The degree must be recognized by UGC/AICTE/Board of Technical Education.
Educational Qualification
- Engineering Graduation in relevant discipline
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks for UR/OBC-NC candidates
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates
The percentage calculation will consider aggregate of all semesters/years.
Candidates who completed Engineering Graduation on or after 01 April 2023 are eligible.
Candidates who completed engineering prior to 01 April 2023 are not eligible.
Age Limit (As on 10 March 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Age relaxations will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines.
Stipend
Selected Graduate Apprentice Trainees will receive:
- ₹25,000 per month
Out of this:
- ₹20,500 will be paid by HPCL
- ₹4,500 will be paid by Government of India through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)
There is no provision for housing allowance or additional benefits.
Selection Process
The selection methodology includes:
- Screening of applications based on merit (percentage of marks).
- Shortlisting candidates in 1:5 ratio for document verification.
- Preparation of merit list based on eligibility and verification.
- Engagement after signing tripartite apprenticeship contract on NATS portal.
- Submission of medical fitness certificate and police verification.
