D. Junior Office Assistant (IT)

Essential Qualification:

• Class 12 pass
• One-year Diploma in Computer Applications
• Knowledge of computers including MS Office
• Basic understanding of HP conditions

E. Steno Typist (Job Trainee)

Key requirements:

• Class 12 qualification
• 80 words per minute shorthand speed in English or Hindi
• 30 WPM typing speed
• Must qualify typing/shorthand test before appointment

Category-wise Reservation Rules

HPPSC follows state reservation rules, including:

• Scheduled Caste (SC)

Stage 1 – Computer Based Test (CBT)

Total Questions: 120 MCQs
Total Marks: 120
Total Duration: 2 hours

The exam includes:

1. General Knowledge of HP
2. National GK
3. English Language
4. General Science
5. Logical Reasoning
6. Subject-specific questions (for Special Educator, Steno, JOA IT etc.)

Each question carries 1 mark.
No mention of negative marking in this notification.

Stage 2 – Document Verification

You can clear CBT you will be called for DV.
