IOCL Eastern Region Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – 150 Vacancies | Apply via NAPS/NATS Portal

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Fortune Global 500 Company and one of India’s largest commercial enterprises, has released an official notification for engagement of 150 Trade, Technician, and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

The recruitment is for IOCL (Marketing Division), Eastern Region, covering the states of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, and the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Online applications are open from 02 March 2026 (10:00 AM) to 09 March 2026 (5:00 PM).

Educational Qualification

For Trade Apprentice (ITI)

• Matric (10th)
• 2-year ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT recognized)

For Technician Apprentice

• 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline
• Minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

For Graduate Apprentice

• Full-time Graduation (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA)
• Minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

For Data Entry Operator

• 12th Pass (Below Graduate)
• Minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD)

Qualification must be full-time regular course only .

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 24 years (as on 28.02.2026)

Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC-NCL: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years (additional relaxations applicable)

Training Period

• 12 Months apprenticeship training

Selection Process

There will be:

• No Written Exam
• No Interview

Selection will be based on:

• Merit list prepared on percentage of marks in qualifying examination

Shortlisted candidates will be called for:

• Document Verification
• Pre-engagement Medical Fitness Test

Final engagement subject to medical fitness and document verification .

Important Eligibility Conditions

• Qualification must be acquired between:
  • 01.04.2022 to 28.02.2026 (Graduate/Technician)
  • 01.04.2021 to 28.02.2026 (Trade Apprentices)
• Higher qualifications like BE/BTech/MBA/CA/MCA not eligible.
• Candidate can apply for only one discipline code.
• Must register on NAPS/NATS portal before applying.

Stipend

Stipend will be paid as per Apprentices Act, 1961 and amended rules.
