Residency & Language Requirement

• You must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• The applicant must have studied Bengali (local language) as per Government Order No. HFW/NHM-322/2023/10230(03) dated 31.07.2023.

Educational Qualification

You must meet either of the following qualifications:

Option A: GNM

• You  must have completed GNM training from an institute recognized by:
  • Indian Nursing Council
  • West Bengal Nursing Council

Option B: B.Sc Nursing

• You  must have completed B.Sc Nursing.

Registration Requirement

• You  must be registered under West Bengal Nursing Council.
• The registration must be valid at the time of applying.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

• Maximum age: 40 years

Age Relaxation (as per West Bengal Government norms):
