Educational Qualification
As per Page 5 of the notification :
Candidates must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
AND
- At least 120 hours computer course with working experience in:
- Office Productivity Applications
- Desktop Publishing Applications
OR
Have passed Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ Level certificate of DOEACC.
Mandatory Condition:
- Candidate must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as compulsory or elective subject.
- Punjabi language qualifying test (50% minimum marks) is mandatory.
Pay Scale
Pay Scale: ₹35,400/- (Level as per 7th CPC)
In addition to basic pay, candidates will receive:

Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Written Examination (Objective Type – MCQs)
The exam will have two parts:
Part A:
- Punjabi Language (Matric level)
- Qualifying in nature
- Minimum 50% marks required
- Marks not counted in merit
Part B:
- Questions based on required educational qualification
- Each question carries 1 mark
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
- Merit prepared based on Part B marks only
Tie-breaking rule:
- Higher age candidate preferred
- If still tie, higher educational percentage considered
