The position of Project Associate-Ib requires active involvement in research, lab work, scientific documentation, and device development. You will support the research team in the development of a portable glucometer integrated with smartphones, focusing on real-time diabetes monitoring.

A. Lab Research & Nanomaterial Synthesis

  • Synthesize nanomaterials suitable for electrochemical sensing.
  • Work with graphene, metal oxides, or polymer nanomaterials.
  • Use wet-chemical synthesis, sol-gel methods, and advanced nanofabrication techniques.
  • Handle laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.

B. Material Characterization

  • Conduct characterization using tools such as:
    • SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy)
    • TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy)
    • XRD (X-Ray Diffraction)
    • UV-Vis spectroscopy
    • FTIR
    • Raman spectroscopy
