Educational Qualification

For Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT):

• Qualification: 3 Years Full-time Diploma in Engineering in the relevant discipline (Electronics, Mechanical, or Electrical) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum Marks:
  • General / OBC (NCL) / EWS: 60% aggregate
  • SC / ST / PwBD: 50% aggregate

For Technician ‘C’:

• Qualification:
  • SSLC + ITI + 1-year Apprenticeship (National Apprenticeship Certificate) OR
  • SSLC + 3-Year National Apprenticeship Certificate Course in the relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, or Electronics Mechanic).
• Minimum Marks:
  • General / OBC (NCL) / EWS: 60% aggregate
  • SC / ST / PwBD: 50% aggregate

Age Limit (as on 01.10.2025)

Minimum Age: 18 years for all categories.
Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.

Training, Pay Scale & Salary Structure

Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT)

• Training: 6 months
• Stipend during training: ₹24,000 per month
• Regular Pay Scale after training:
  ₹24,500 – 3% – ₹90,000 (Grade: WG-VII / CP-VI)
• Additional Benefits: DA, HRA, Perks @30% of basic, PF, Gratuity, Pension, Group Insurance & Medical coverage.

Technician ‘C’

• Regular Pay Scale: ₹21,500 – 3% – ₹82,000 (Grade: WG-IV / CP-V)
• Allowances: DA, HRA, perks, and other company benefits as per BEL rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification.

1️⃣ Computer Based Test

• Total Marks: 150
• Sections:
  • Part I (General Aptitude): 50 Marks — logical reasoning, comprehension, analytical skills, data interpretation, GK.
  • Part II (Technical Aptitude): 100 Marks — discipline-specific questions.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

Document Verification

• You are shortlisted based on CBT you will be called for document verification at BEL Hyderabad.
• Final merit will depend on your performance and reservation norms.

Tentative Exam Date: November 2025 (as per notification).
