NHM District Sakti Recruitment 2026: The Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh, has released a contractual recruitment notification for various posts under the National Health Mission (NHM) and related health programmes. According to the notification, 117 vacancies are available across 26 different posts, including Nursing Officer, Staff Nurse, Community Health Officer, Laboratory Technician, Physiotherapist, Dental Surgeon, Pharmacist, Jr. Secretarial Assistant, Class IV and other posts.

Laboratory Technician

OT Technician

The notification requires 10+2 with Biology, Chemistry and Physics along with the prescribed OT Technician/paramedical qualification and registration with the concerned Chhattisgarh Paramedical Council.

Physiotherapist

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) with live registration in the concerned council.

Dental Surgeon

The required qualification is MDS with registration in Chhattisgarh Medical Council, or BDS with registration as prescribed.

RMA

The notification specifies the required qualification and registration under the relevant medical/AYUSH provisions.

MO – AYUSH

Candidates should possess BHMS/BAMS/BUMS or the applicable AYUSH qualification with registration from the recognized AYUSH registration board.

ANM

Candidates should have passed 12th/ANM qualification from an INC-affiliated training centre along with live registration in the Chhattisgarh Nursing Registration Council.

Pharmacist

Candidates should have a Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy with registration in the Chhattisgarh Pharmacy Registration Council.

Staff Nurse / Community Health Officer

For Staff Nurse and Nursing Officer positions, B.Sc. Nursing/GNM with applicable registration is prescribed. For the Community Health Officer (CHO) post, the notification specifies B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with the Community Health Integrated Course and applicable registration. 

For the remaining posts, qualifications range from relevant graduate/postgraduate qualifications to 12th, 10th and 8th pass depending upon the position. For example, Block Account Manager requires B.Com with computer qualification/PGDCA and Tally knowledge, while Jr. Secretarial Assistant posts require 12th pass with a computer application diploma. 

Age Limit

As per the notification, the minimum age is 18 years.

The maximum age is:

• 70 years for medical posts
• 64 years for managerial posts

The age is calculated with reference to 01 January 2026, as specified in the notification. 

Candidates belonging to reserved categories and special categories will receive applicable reservation/relaxation as per the government rules mentioned in the notification.

Reservation

Reservation is applicable as per the Chhattisgarh Government rules and the applicable National Health Mission guidelines. The notification also provides provisions for eligible persons with disabilities, women and other reserved categories. Candidates claiming reservation must attach the appropriate certificate issued by the competent authority. 

NHM District Sakti Selection Process 2026

The selection process differs according to the post.

For Nursing Officer, ANM, Staff Nurse, Community Health Officer and Nursing Officer (UHWC), the notification provides marks for:

1. Educational qualification – 60%
2. Skill/Written Examination/Interview – 20 marks
3. Experience – 20 marks, with the experience component calculated according to the rules prescribed in the notification.

For several other posts, the selection criteria provide 65% marks for educational qualification, 20 marks for skill/written examination/interview and 10/15 marks for experience, depending on the applicable category/post. 

For Class IV, Attendant, Cook Cum Care Taker and Cleaner posts, selection is based on a merit list, with the prescribed educational qualification carrying the relevant marks and experience marks being added according to the notification. 

Therefore, candidates should not assume that every post has the same examination pattern. The selection method should be checked against the particular post applied for.

Application Fee

The notification prescribes different application fees based on category and the monthly remuneration of the post.

For posts having remuneration up to ₹25,000 and posts having remuneration above ₹25,000, separate fee slabs are provided for reserved categories/women, OBC and unreserved male candidates. The fee is to be submitted through the prescribed Demand Draft in favour of the concerned District Health Society as mentioned in the notification.
