SSC CHSL 2025 Tier-I City Intimation Out: Check Exam City, Date, and Scribe Registration Details @ ssc.gov.in

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released an important update for you are  appearing in the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (CHSL) 2025 – Tier-I.

According to the latest notification dated 05 November 2025, you can now check your exam city, date, and shift details by logging into the SSC website — https://ssc.gov.in.

Alongside, the Commission has also issued fresh guidelines for you are availing the “Own Scribe” facility, with a mandatory new registration process integrated with Aadhaar authentication.

What Has SSC Announced?

As per the official circular from SSC Headquarters, the Commission has activated the City of Examination & Scribe Registration portal for CHSL 2025 Tier-I.

You can now:

1. View your City of Examination (and Date/Shift) by logging in on the SSC website.
2. Complete Fresh Scribe Registration (for you are availing “Own Scribe”).

How to Check Your Exam City & Date

1. You can go to https://ssc.gov.in.
2. Log in using your Registered ID and Password.
3. You can navigate to “Latest Updates” → “CHSL (10+2) 2025 Tier-I City Intimation.”
4. You can click on the link and your Exam City, Date, and Shift will appear on the screen.
5. Yoiu can take a print or screenshot for reference.

2. City Allocation Rules Explained

According to SSC’s circular, the allocation of exam city and shift is based on three key scenarios:

(i) Candidates Who Selected Exam Slots

• If You are  exercised the slot selection option have been allotted your preferred city and date.
• However, due to “functional difficulties”, SSC mentioned that some shifts have been changed.
• You  will still get your preferred exam city, but the day/shift may differ.

(ii) Candidates Who Opted for Alternate City

• If you are  selected an alternate exam city (in case the main preference was full) you have been allotted the nearest available alternate city to the maximum extent possible.

(iii) Candidates Who Did Not Select Any Slot

• If you  did not select slots have been allotted exam city/date/shift based on availability.
• Most of them got cities among their preferences given in the application form.

Important Note for City Allotment Complaints

If you  did not receive an exam city from the preferences they mentioned in your application, they can submit a representation through SSC’s Feedback Portal on the website.

• Deadline for Complaints: 8 November 2025 (11:00 PM)
• SSC will consider re-allocation only if slots are available.

So, you should immediately check your city and raise objections (if any) before the last date.

3. “Own Scribe” Facility – Fresh Registration Required

One of the major highlights of this notification is that you are  using your own scribe must complete fresh registration of your scribe details on the SSC portal.

Key Points:

• The earlier or old scribe registrations have been disposed of (cancelled).
• Fresh Scribe Registration is mandatory for CHSL 2025.
• The process is now integrated with Aadhaar Authentication to ensure transparency.
• The maximum permissible age of the scribe has been updated as per the latest SSC policy.
• You can map your scribe’s OTR (One-Time Registration) only until 8 November 2025 (11 PM).

After successful mapping, SSC will generate a Scribe Entry Pass, which allows the scribe to enter the exam centre.

4. Steps for Fresh Scribe Registration

Here’s how you are availing “Own Scribe” can register your scribe:

1. You can visit the SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in
2. You can go to the Scribe Registration Portal.
3. The Scribe must register using your Aadhaar Number and complete Aadhaar Authentication.
4. Fill in all required details (Name, Date of Birth, Address, ID Proof, etc.).
5. The system will generate a unique Scribe Registration Number.
6. You must enter this number in your SSC CHSL application (or mapping module).
7. Only those who map your scribe before 8 November 2025 (11 PM) will get your Scribe Entry Pass.

5. Who Can Use the “Own Scribe” Facility?

You are with benchmark disabilities (as defined under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act) who have opted to bring your own scribe can avail this facility.

SSC allows you are  to choose  meets these criteria:

• The scribe must not be a you are for the same examination.
• The scribe’s educational qualification should be lower than the candidate’s.
• The scribe should be medically fit and within the permissible age limit as per SSC policy.

6. Scribe Policy and Guidelines (As per CHSL 2025 Notice)

• You must bring the approved Scribe Entry Pass and ID proof of the scribe on the exam day.
• Both you  and scribe must sign a declaration form confirming compliance with SSC rules.
• If any false information is detected, you will be cancelled.
• Scribes must also follow the same COVID and biometric guidelines as you.
