IOCL Guwahati Refinery Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification Out – Apply Online for 102 Apprentice Posts
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), one of India’s leading Maharatna Public Sector Undertakings and a Fortune Global 500 Company, has released the Guwahati Refinery Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification for the engagement of 102 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973. Eligible candidates from ITI, Diploma, Graduate, B.Sc., B.Com., BA, and 12th Pass backgrounds can apply online through the NAPS/NATS portal.
The online application process has started from 29 June 2026 and will remain open until 28 July 2026. Selection will be made purely on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. There will be no written examination for this recruitment.

Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Industrial Chemistry)
- ITI Fitter
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
- BA
- B.Com
- Class XII Pass
- Class XII with Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate
Candidates must have secured minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved seats). The qualification should be obtained through regular full-time mode from a recognized institution. Higher professional qualifications such as B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, or LLB are not eligible.

Age will be calculated as on 30 June 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.
Selection Process
The recruitment process is completely merit-based.

- Merit prepared based on percentage obtained in qualifying examination.
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination.
- Final Selection.
In case two candidates secure equal marks, the older candidate will be given preference.
Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and IOCL guidelines. Additional facilities like safety equipment and accident insurance will also be provided wherever applicable.
