Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), on behalf of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) and its subsidiary DISCOMs, has released a Special Recruitment Drive for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) for the post of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant). A total of 236 vacancies have been announced across PGVCL, UGVCL, MGVCL, and DGVCL.
Selected candidates will be appointed initially for 3 years as Vidyut Sahayak with a fixed remuneration and may later be absorbed as Junior Assistant in the regular pay scale after satisfactory completion of the tenure.

About PGVCL Recruitment 2026
PGVCL, along with UGVCL, MGVCL and DGVCL, has invited applications from eligible Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) for recruitment to the post of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant). Candidates possessing graduation in Arts, Commerce, Science, BCA or BBA with the prescribed marks can apply online.

Salary
Selected candidates will receive:

After successful completion of 3 years, candidates may be appointed as Junior Assistant in the regular pay scale of:

Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess any one of the following degrees from a recognized university:
- BA
- B.Com
- B.Sc
- BCA
- BBA
Minimum qualification:
- 55% marks in final year or last two semesters.
- Open/Distance Learning degrees are also eligible if approved as per notification norms.
