2. Conducting regular campus patrols to prevent unauthorized activities.
3. Monitoring CCTV systems, alarm systems and other security equipment.

5. Responding to emergencies such as fire incidents, medical emergencies, natural disasters, accidents and law-and-order situations.

Contract Duration

The Junior Security Assistant engagement is purely temporary and contractual.

The initial contract period will be one year. It may be renewed annually for a maximum period of five years, depending on satisfactory performance and the requirements of IISc.

The contract tenure begins from the date of joining. For candidates previously employed at IISc through appointments made by the HR Department, their previous service will be counted towards the maximum five-year tenure.

An annual increment of up to 10% may be permitted, with a maximum of four such revisions, subject to the recommendation of the committee and approval of the Competent Authority.

3. Interview
