Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), a Government of India Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, has released the Detailed Advertisement for Engaging CA/CMA Interns for the Year 2026. Training Period

The normal training period is 12 months.

Depending on the requirements of the institute and the performance of the student, the training period may be extended for a further period of up to 12 months on a case-to-case basis. A completion certificate will be issued after successful completion of the training period. 

Working Hours

The notification states that trainees will generally work:

• 8 hours per day
• 5 days per week
• One-hour lunch break included

Trainees are also eligible for paid leave at the rate of one day per month, amounting to 12 days for a one-year training period. 

NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Selection Process 2026

The selection process for NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Recruitment 2026 consists primarily of screening based on Inter CA/Inter CMA marks followed by a Personal Interview.

Step 1 – Screening

Applications will first be screened based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Inter CA/Inter CMA examination. Candidates who have not provided final marks will not be considered.

Step 2 – Shortlisting

Candidates will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview in a 1:5 ratio, based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Inter CA/Inter CMA examination.

Step 3 – Personal Interview

Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Personal Interview through Virtual Mode.

Step 4 – Final Selection

The final selection will be based on merit, subject to fulfilment of all eligibility conditions and successful completion of the prescribed selection process. 

In case of a tie, candidates with higher Inter CA/Inter CMA marks will be given preference. If interview marks and examination marks are also equal, the older candidate will be ranked higher. If marks and age are also the same, alphabetical order of the candidate’s name will be considered.

Eligible candidates must apply online through the NPCIL Careers website only. NPCIL will not accept handwritten, typewritten or hard-copy applications.

Candidates should not send application forms or documents to NPCIL by post or any other method.
