• Pursuing M.Sc Second Year
• Full-time course in relevant discipline

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for DRDO SAG Internship 2026 must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:

• Must be an Indian Citizen.
• Must be pursuing the final year of UG or PG course during the academic session 2026-27.
• Minimum 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA and above.
• Institution must be approved by AICTE or UGC.
• Candidate should not have any backlog or failed subject in any semester.
• Must submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the college.

Students failing to meet any of the above conditions will not be considered for the internship program.

Internship Duration

The internship will be conducted for a period of six months.

Internship Period: 01 July 2026 to 31 December 2026

During this period, interns will work on defence-related projects and gain practical exposure to advanced research and development activities undertaken by DRDO.

DRDO SAG Internship Stipend

Selected interns will receive a total stipend of ₹30,000 during the internship period.

Important Conditions for Stipend

• Candidate must attend the laboratory for a minimum of 15 working days every month.
• Stipend will be directly transferred to the student’s bank account.
• Boarding, lodging, travel, and medical expenses must be borne by the candidate.
