ESIC Recruitment 2026 –  Walk-in Interview for 27 Super Specialist, Specialist & Senior Resident Posts

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. 07/2026 for contractual engagement of Super Specialists, Specialists and Senior Residents at ESIC Model and Super Speciality Hospital, Asramam, Kollam, Kerala.

According to the notification dated 19 August 2026, eligible medical professionals can attend the walk-in interview on 3 September 2026. Super Specialist Vacancies – 3 Posts

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification differs according to the post and specialty.

For Super Specialist – Entry Level

Candidates should possess a recognized medical qualification included in the relevant schedules of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, or meet the prescribed equivalent requirements. Candidates should also possess DM/CH/DNB or equivalent qualification in the concerned super specialty and must have the required medical council registration.

For Super Specialist – Senior Consultant

Candidates should possess the prescribed medical qualification along with DM/CH/DNB or equivalent qualification in the concerned super specialty. Candidates having at least five years of post-super-specialty qualification experience will be considered for engagement as Consultant (Senior Level).

For Specialist

For Specialist positions, candidates should generally possess a Post Graduate Degree/DNB or Diploma in the concerned specialty after MBBS/BDS, along with registration with the concerned Medical/Dental Council.

For Junior Specialist, the notification specifies three years of experience for degree holders and five years for diploma holders.

For Senior Specialist, five years of experience is required for degree holders and seven years for diploma holders.

For Senior Resident

For Senior Resident positions, candidates should possess the prescribed PG Degree/DNB or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty, with Medical Council registration wherever applicable.

For ICU and Casualty positions, the notification specifies relevant qualifications in areas such as Anaesthesiology, General Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Critical Care Medicine, depending upon the post.

ESIC Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

For Part-Time/Full-Time Super Specialist and Specialist positions, the candidate’s age should not exceed 69 years as on the date of interview. Tenure beyond 70 years is not allowed.

For Senior Resident, the maximum age is 45 years as on the date of interview, with relaxation for SC, ST and OBC candidates as per applicable rules.

ESIC Recruitment 2026 Salary / Remuneration

The remuneration varies according to the post and level.

For Super Specialists, the notification mentions Rs. 2,00,000 per month at Entry Level and Rs. 2,40,000 per month at Senior Level for full-time engagement.

For Part-Time Super Specialists, the remuneration is mentioned as Rs. 1,00,000 per month at Entry Level and Rs. 1,50,000 per month at Consultant/Senior Level, with additional visiting charges under the prescribed conditions.

For Specialists, the full-time remuneration is stated as approximately Rs. 1,60,752 per month for Level 12 Junior Specialist and Rs. 1,38,108 per month for Level 11 Junior Specialist, as applicable. Part-time Specialists are paid on the basis specified in the advertisement.

For Senior Residents, the notification mentions total emoluments of approximately Rs. 1,38,108 per month for PG Degree holders, subject to the applicable terms and deductions.

ESIC Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

Candidates applying for the notified posts are required to pay the prescribed application fee.

The fee should be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Employees’ State Insurance Fund Account No. 1, payable at Kollam. PwD and female applicants are exempted from payment of the application fee.
