HAL Nasik Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 – 627 ITI, Graduate & Diploma Apprentice Posts

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Aircraft Division, Nashik has released two separate apprentice recruitment notifications for the 2026-27 training year. The recruitment is being conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for one year of apprenticeship training at HAL Nasik.

Through these notifications, HAL Nasik is inviting applications from ITI candidates, Engineering Graduates, Diploma holders and Non-Technical Graduates. A total of 627 apprentice positions are available, comprising 355 ITI Apprentice posts and 272 Graduate/Diploma/Non-Technical Graduate Apprentice posts.

The ITI apprenticeship notification is issued under the NAPS Scheme, while the Engineering Graduate, Diploma and Non-Technical Graduate apprenticeship is being conducted under the NATS Scheme. The application deadline for both categories is September 4, 2026.

HAL Nasik Apprentice Vacancy 2026-27

The vacancies are divided into two major recruitment notifications.

ITI Apprentice Vacancy – 355 Posts

The notification specifies 2-year ITI trades with a stipend of ₹11,040 and 1-year ITI trades with a stipend of ₹10,560. Candidates must have completed the relevant regular ITI qualification from an NCVT or SCVT-recognized institute.

Graduate/Diploma/Non-Technical Graduate Vacancy – 272 Posts

The graduate notification contains 133 Engineering Graduate posts, 61 Diploma posts and 78 Non-Technical Graduate posts.

Eligibility Criteria

ITI Candidates

Candidates applying for the ITI apprentice positions must have passed ITI in the respective trade from an NCVT/SCVT-recognized institute. Candidates who have already registered as apprentices in another company or have already completed apprenticeship training are not eligible.

Registration on the NAPS portal is mandatory. Candidates must obtain their NAPS Registration Number and mention it in the HAL application form.

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Engineering Graduate, Diploma and Non-Technical Graduate Candidates

For Graduate/Diploma/Non-Technical Graduate apprentices, candidates must have passed their qualifying Degree/Diploma during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 and must possess the required passing certificate on the date of application.

Candidates whose status is “Appearing” or “Result Awaited” are not eligible. Candidates with pending back papers or awaited supplementary examination results are also not eligible.

Candidates who have already registered for or completed apprenticeship training at another establishment are not eligible.

Candidates must also register on the NATS portal and obtain the required Student ID/Enrollment ID before filling the HAL application form.

Reservation

Reservation will be applicable according to the Apprenticeship Act, Government of India and HAL guidelines.

For PwD candidates, the notification states that the disability percentage should not be less than 40%. OBC candidates must produce the required Non-Creamy Layer and caste certificates in the Central Government format. EWS candidates must produce a valid Income and Asset Certificate issued by the competent authority.

Stipend Details

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend according to their category.

For Engineering Graduates and Non-Technical Graduates, the stipend is ₹12,300 per month, while Diploma apprentices will receive ₹10,900 per month.

For ITI apprentices, the stipend is ₹11,040 per month for the specified two-year trades and ₹10,560 per month for the specified one-year trades.

For the NATS category, 50% of the stipend is paid by the company and the remaining 50% is paid by BOAT through DBT into the candidate’s Aadhaar-seeded bank account. HAL also states that its 50% share is paid into an SBI savings bank account.

Selection Process

The recruitment is for apprenticeship training and does not involve a regular written examination as specified in these notifications.

The selection process broadly involves:

1. Online registration on the appropriate apprenticeship portal.
2. Submission of the HAL application form.
3. Scrutiny/shortlisting of eligible applications.
4. Physical document verification of shortlisted candidates.
5. Publication of shortlisted candidate list.
6. Joining at HAL Nasik on the prescribed date.
7. Submission of required medical fitness and police verification documents at joining.

For the ITI recruitment, the FAQ states that the merit score is calculated with 70% weightage to SSC marks and 30% weightage to ITI marks, considering marks of all ITI semesters.

The official schedule provides for physical document verification of shortlisted candidates in the 2nd and 3rd week of September 2026, publication of the shortlisted list in the 4th week of September 2026, and joining during the 1st and 2nd week of October 2026.

Candidates selected for joining must produce original documents, a medical fitness certificate from a certified medical practitioner with minimum MBBS qualification and a police verification certificate/report.

How to Apply for HAL Nasik Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27

For ITI Candidates

Step 1: Register on the Government of India NAPS portal with your SSC/10th and ITI education details.

NAPS Apprenticeship Portal

Candidates must complete their profile and obtain the NAPS Registration Number. The notification states that the registration number generally begins with “A0”.

Step 2: After obtaining the registration number, open the HAL ITI application form.

Fill in the details exactly according to your certificates and NAPS profile. The form can be submitted only once and cannot be corrected later.

For Graduate/Diploma/Non-Technical Graduate Candidates

Step 1: Register on the NATS 2.0 portal and obtain the Student ID/Enrollment ID.

NATS 2.0 Portal

Candidates who completed Engineering Graduation after Diploma are required to register or upgrade their NATS profile with the higher qualification.

Step 2: Fill the HAL Graduate/Diploma application form.

The application form must be filled accurately because incorrect information can result in rejection during scrutiny. The form can be submitted only once.

HAL specifically instructs candidates to upload original scanned documents on the apprenticeship portal and ensure that names on the portal, Aadhaar and educational certificates match without spelling errors.

Candidates should also carry their original certificates and marksheets during physical verification. Photocopies or digital formats alone will not be accepted for physical verification.

Important Dates

The last date for both the ITI and Graduate/Diploma/Non-Technical Graduate application forms is 4 September 2026. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
