Indian Oil Corporation Limited has invited online applications for apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment is intended to provide technical and practical training to eligible candidates in various engineering, technical, ITI, and graduate disciplines. Selected candidates will receive apprenticeship training at different IOCL establishments located across Northern India.

Educational Qualification

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following eligibility conditions:

• Qualification should be obtained through regular full-time courses.
• Distance Education and Correspondence courses are not eligible.
• Candidates must have secured minimum qualifying marks as prescribed.
• Candidates with higher qualifications like BE, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, LLB etc. are not eligible.
• Candidates having one year or more work experience after qualification are not eligible.
• Candidates who completed qualification more than five years before the cut-off date are not eligible for apprenticeship.

Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as on 31 August 2026.

Stipend

Selected apprentices will receive stipend as per the Apprentices Act and Apprenticeship Rules.

Additionally,

• Extra ₹2,500 per month will be paid by IOCL towards miscellaneous expenses.
• Graduate and Technician Apprentices will receive a portion of the stipend through the DBT system via BOAT.
• Trade Apprentices will receive the stipend from IOCL as per applicable rules.

Selection Process

The selection process is completely merit-based.

There will be no written examination and no interview.

The selection process consists of:

4. Medical Fitness Test
5. Final Engagement Letter

If two candidates secure equal marks, preference will be given to the older candidate. If the date of birth is also the same, higher marks in Class 10 will be considered. Preference is also given to candidates applying for apprenticeship for the first time.
