Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), one of India’s largest Maharatna Public Sector Undertakings, has released the Paradip Refinery Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification for 582 Apprentice vacancies under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973. Candidates who have completed Class 12, ITI, Diploma, B.Sc., B.Com., or B.A. in the prescribed disciplines can apply online.

The apprenticeship will be conducted at Paradip Refinery, Odisha, offering one year of industrial training along with a monthly stipend as per Apprenticeship Rules. Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized institution:

• 3-Year B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Industrial Chemistry)
• ITI Fitter
• Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering
• BA/B.Sc./B.Com
• B.Com (Accountant)
• Class XII Pass
• Class XII + Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate

Minimum qualifying marks:

• General/OBC/EWS – 50%
• SC/ST/PwBD – 45%

Candidates awaiting results, distance education candidates, or those possessing higher professional qualifications such as B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, or LLB are not eligible.

Age Limit

Age will be calculated as on 30 June 2026.

Relaxation:

• SC/ST – 5 Years
• OBC (NCL) – 3 Years
• PwBD – 10 Years (additional relaxation as per rules)

Training Duration

Stipend

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Corporation guidelines.

Selection Process

There will be no written examination.

Selection will be based on:

1. Merit prepared on aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
2. Preference to candidates applying for apprenticeship for the first time.
3. In case of a tie, older candidates will be ranked higher.
4. Final selection after document verification and medical fitness.

Eligibility Conditions

Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

• Passed the prescribed qualification before 30 June 2026.
• Qualification should be obtained through regular full-time study.
• Should not possess higher qualifications like B.Tech/MBA/MCA.
• Should not have more than one year of work experience after qualification.
• Should not have completed five years after obtaining the prescribed qualification.
• Can apply for only one trade.

How to Apply Online

Candidates must complete both Step I and Step II to successfully submit their application. Applications will be accepted only through the online mode.

Step 1: Register on NAPS/NATS Portal

• NAPS Portal – For Post Codes 101, 102, 108, 109, 110 & 111
• NATS Portal – For Post Codes 104, 105, 106 & 107

After registration:

• Complete your profile carefully.

Step 2: Submit Microsoft Form
