Noida Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRC) has released a recruitment notification for experienced professionals for various posts under project works. The recruitment is being conducted through Direct Contract Basis in IDA Pay Scale. Eligible and experienced Indian nationals can apply for the available posts through the prescribed offline application process.

NMRC is looking to fill 34 vacancies for posts including Senior Section Engineer (Civil), Senior Section Engineer (Track), Senior Section Engineer (Rolling Stock), Senior Section Engineer (AFC & Telecom), Senior Section Engineer (Electrical), Senior Section Engineer (Signaling & Telecom), Senior Section Officer (Finance), Senior Section Officer (Legal), and Senior Section Officer (HR). NMRC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the advertised posts is 40 years as on the closing date of application. For reserved-category candidates, age relaxation is applicable only for posts earmarked for the respective reserved categories.

The notification provides 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates for posts reserved for those categories. Candidates belonging to reserved categories applying for UR posts will be considered under the general merit criteria and will not receive age relaxation.

Educational Qualification and Experience

The required qualification differs according to the post.

Senior Section Engineer (Civil): Candidates should possess a three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a government-recognized university/institute and have six years of supervisory or above-level experience in civil construction and/or civil maintenance works involving viaducts, bridges or station buildings. Preference is given to candidates presently working with Railways, Railway PSUs, Metro Rail or RRTS.

Senior Section Engineer (Track): A three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering is required, along with six years of supervisory or above-level experience in laying, construction, execution and/or maintenance of track works, including associated procurement and interface management in Railways, Railway PSUs, Metro Rail or RRTS.

Senior Section Engineer (Rolling Stock): Candidates require a three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. Six years of relevant supervisory or above-level experience in contract management, installation, testing and commissioning and/or operations and maintenance of Rolling Stock is required.

Senior Section Engineer (AFC & Telecom): Candidates need a three-year Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Six years of supervisory or above-level experience in Signaling & Telecom, including project implementation/operation and maintenance of S&T systems, is required.

Senior Section Engineer (Electrical): A three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required along with six years of relevant supervisory or above-level experience in areas such as OHE, RSS, traction distribution, E&M, traction and power supply, SCADA, lift and escalator systems, testing, commissioning and related electrical systems.

Senior Section Engineer (Signaling & Telecom): Candidates need a relevant three-year Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics Engineering and six years of supervisory or above-level experience in S&T, including project implementation, operation and maintenance.

Senior Section Officer (Finance): Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Commerce along with an MBA in Finance, or be a Chartered Accountant from ICAI/Cost & Management Accountant from ICMAI. Six years of relevant supervisory or above-level experience in accounts, taxation, treasury, company law, corporate governance, budgeting, audit and related functions is required.

Senior Section Officer (Legal): Candidates should possess a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Law through either a three-year regular course or a five-year integrated regular course. Six years of supervisory or above-level experience in handling legal cases, legal documentation, contract drafting, statutory compliance and RTI matters is required.

Senior Section Officer (HR): Candidates need a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and either an MBA in Human Resource Management or a two-year PG Degree/Diploma with specialization in HRM, HRD, Personnel Management or Industrial Relations. Six years of supervisory or above-level experience in HR functions such as recruitment, establishment, employee appraisal, training, grievances, RTI and labour matters is required.

Present Pay Scale Requirement

This is one of the most important eligibility conditions in the NMRC recruitment.

Candidates presently working in Central Government, State Government, PSUs, Railways, Metro Rail Companies or other government bodies should either be working in the revised IDA pay scale of ₹40,000–₹1,25,000 or CDA pay scale of ₹44,900–₹1,42,400 (Level-7).

Alternatively, candidates should have been working for two years in the revised IDA pay scale of ₹37,000–₹1,15,000 / ₹35,000–₹1,10,000 or CDA pay scale of ₹35,400–₹1,12,400 (Level-6) or above.

NMRC has also clarified that private-sector experience will not be counted towards the minimum post-qualification experience. Management Trainee, Graduate Engineer Trainee and Apprenticeship experience will also not be counted for calculating the required experience.

NMRC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted by NMRC through offline mode.

Eligible candidates will first be shortlisted based on their qualifications and relevant experience. Depending on the number of applications, NMRC may conduct a written test and/or personal interview. The selection process is intended to assess candidates on knowledge, skills, experience, aptitude and physical ability. If the number of applications is high, a written test may be used to shortlist candidates.

Candidates called for the selection process must make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. NMRC will not provide travel or stay facilities to outstation candidates.

Document verification will be conducted before the interview. Candidates must carry their original certificates and documents; failure to produce the required originals may result in the candidate not being allowed to attend the interview.

NMRC Salary and Benefits

The selected candidates will be appointed in the IDA pay scale of ₹46,000–₹1,45,000.

The compensation package includes Basic Pay, HRA at 30%, IDA at 55.7% as mentioned in the advertisement, perks at 31.5%, statutory benefits such as PF and gratuity, other applicable allowances and medical benefits at CGHS rates.

Candidates should also note that the appointment is on a direct contract basis and a surety bond of ₹1,50,000 plus applicable training cost and GST is required, with a minimum service period of three years.

After joining, the employee will undergo probation as per NMRC policy. A three-month notice period is required before seeking resignation from the Corporation.

Documents Required

Candidates should attach self-attested copies of the documents specified in the notification.
