RCF Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27: 326 Posts, Eligibility, Stipend, Selection Process & Apply Online

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF Ltd.) has released an official notification for the engagement of 326 Graduate Apprentices, Technician Apprentices and Trade Apprentices for the training year 2026-27. Eligible candidates can apply online for apprenticeship training at Trombay, Mumbai or Thal, Raigad District, Maharashtra. The online application process starts on 04 September 2026 at 08:00 AM and the last date to apply is 20 September 2026 up to 05:00 PM.

RCF Ltd. is a Government of India undertaking and a Navratna company engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of fertilizers and industrial chemicals. The company operates manufacturing units at Trombay and Thal.

RCF Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 – Overview

RCF Apprentice Vacancy 2026-27

RCF has announced a total of 326 apprenticeship positions. These vacancies are divided into 145 Graduate Apprentices, 105 Technician Apprentices and 76 Trade Apprentices. The overall unit-wise distribution is 177 posts at Trombay and 149 posts at Thal.

Graduate Apprentice Posts

All Graduate Apprentice positions have a 12-month training duration, with an upper age limit of 25 years and a minimum requirement of 50% marks.

Technician Apprentice Posts

Technician Apprentice training is for 12 months, and candidates must have at least 50% marks in the prescribed qualification.

Trade Apprentice Posts

Most of the Trade Apprentice positions have a 24-month training period, while Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology) has a 15-month training period.

RCF Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should carefully check the eligibility conditions before submitting the application.

Age Limit

The candidate must be at least 18 years old as on 01 September 2026. The normal upper age limit is 25 years as on the same date.

Reservation is provided for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS and Unreserved categories according to the notification.

Educational Qualification

The required qualification depends upon the apprenticeship trade. Graduate Apprentice candidates require the relevant graduation qualification, Technician Apprentices require the prescribed diploma, while Trade Apprentice eligibility varies from B.Sc. to 12th Science depending on the trade.

The qualification must be obtained from a recognized University/Institute through a regular full-time course. Allied branches of Diploma in Engineering are not accepted.

The required qualifying examination must have been passed on or after 01 July 2023. The minimum percentage should be calculated from the final year or aggregate of the last two semesters, as applicable.

Candidates who have already completed Act Apprenticeship training, have one year or more of job experience, or are pursuing higher studies are not eligible. Distance learning, part-time and correspondence qualifications are also not accepted.

RCF Apprentice Stipend 2026-27

One of the major attractions of this apprenticeship is the monthly stipend. The prescribed total stipend varies according to the apprenticeship category.

For certain Graduate and Technician Apprentice categories, the stipend consists of an RCF component and a BOAT component. The notification states that the BOAT component is disbursed directly by BOAT.

RCF will also provide morning breakfast, tea and vegetarian lunch thali through the company canteen during the training period. OPD medical facilities at RCF Hospital are also available to trainees for themselves. However, transportation or transportation reimbursement will not be provided.

RCF Apprentice Selection Process

The selection process is primarily based on merit.

First, RCF will prepare a merit list according to the percentage obtained in the prescribed essential educational qualification and applicable reservation criteria. Candidates whose qualifying examination uses CGPA/CPI or another grading system must provide the equivalent percentage according to the concerned University/Institute norms.

The shortlisted candidates will then be called for Document Verification. Appointment as an Apprentice Trainee will take place only after successful document verification and approval of the Apprenticeship Contract on the applicable NATS/NAPS portal.

If two candidates have equal marks, the candidate with a higher qualification will be placed higher in the merit list. If the qualification is also the same, the candidate with higher marks in the preceding educational qualification will get preference.

Candidates should also remember that merely satisfying the minimum eligibility conditions does not guarantee selection.

Posting Location and Training Timings

Candidates must select either Trombay or Thal while filling out the application form. Once selected, the posting option cannot be changed. The final posting will depend on the approved intake quota of the respective unit.

The training timings are:

• Graduate Apprentices: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Technician and Trade Apprentices: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The place of posting is non-transferable during the apprenticeship period.

How to Apply for RCF Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Eligible candidates can apply online by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official RCF website.
Step 2: Go to the Recruitment section.
Step 3: Select “Engagement of Apprentices – 2026-27.”
Step 4: Read the complete advertisement and instructions carefully.
Step 5: Click “I Accept” and then select “Apply Online.”
Step 6: Select the preferred posting location — Trombay or Thal.
Step 7: Upload the required photograph and signature in the prescribed format. The photograph should be in JPG/JPEG format and not more than 75 KB, while the signature should not exceed 25 KB.

Step 10: Print the application form and keep it safely for Document Verification. There is no need to send the hard copy to RCF.

Candidates applying for Trade Apprentices under NAPS must register on the Apprenticeship India portal, while Diploma and Graduate Apprentices must register as students on the NATS portal.

1. Latest passport-size photographs
2. PAN Card
3. Aadhaar Card
4. Aadhaar-linked DBT-enabled bank account in the candidate’s own name
5. Mark sheets of all years/semesters
6. Passing certificate of the qualifying examination
7. Proof of age — SSC certificate/Birth Certificate/School Leaving Certificate/Passport
8. SSC, HSC and Graduation leaving certificates, wherever applicable
9. University/Institute certificate showing equivalent percentage where CGPA/CPI is used
10. Medical Fitness Certificate in the prescribed format
11. SC/ST caste certificate, if applicable
12. OBC (NCL) certificate in Central Government format, if applicable
13. EWS certificate, if applicable
14. Certificate relating to Children/Family Members of victims of 1984 riots, if applicable
