UCO Bank Apprentices Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must satisfy the age, educational qualification, nationality and other conditions specified in the official advertisement. Eligibility is determined as of 1 October 2026.

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed a graduate degree from a recognized university or an institution approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.

The graduation mark sheets and provisional or final degree certificate must have been issued on or after 1 April 2022.

Candidates should keep their educational certificates ready for verification. Applicants who have received grades or CGPA/OGPA instead of percentage marks must convert them into percentages according to their university’s prescribed rules and provide the required supporting certificate if requested.

2. Age Limit

The notification also provides age concessions for eligible widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried: up to 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.

4. Nationality

Applicants must satisfy the nationality or citizenship conditions specified in the official notification. These include eligible Indian citizens and certain other categories, subject to the Government of India certificate requirements where applicable.

5. Local Language Proficiency

Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding at least one local language of the State/UT for which they apply.

The bank will conduct the local language test during document verification. Candidates who provide a Class 10 or Class 12 marksheet or certificate showing that they studied the relevant local language will not be required to take this test.

6. Previous Apprenticeship and Work Experience

Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training with UCO Bank or another organization, or who are currently pursuing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, are not eligible under the stated conditions.

Candidates who have completed one year or more of training or job experience after completing the required educational qualification are also ineligible. Candidates whose previous apprenticeship was terminated by their organization are not eligible.

UCO Bank Apprentices Stipend 2026-27

Selected candidates will receive a total monthly stipend of ₹16,650 during the one-year apprenticeship training period.

The government contribution is subject to applicable government guidelines and may change. The notification states that apprentices are not eligible for additional allowances or employee benefits.

UCO Bank Apprentices Selection Process 2026

4. Medical Fitness

Final engagement is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit according to the bank’s requirements.

5. Waiting List

UCO Bank may prepare a waiting list at its discretion to fill vacancies arising when selected candidates do not accept the offer or fail to report.

UCO Bank Apprentices Application Fee 2026

Candidates must pay the examination/application/intimation charges online through the secure payment link provided during the BFSI SSC registration process.

The fees are non-refundable. The notification states that the charges will not be refunded even if a candidate does not attend the examination or is not shortlisted.

Candidates should complete the payment only through the authorized registration process and retain the payment confirmation.
