AEES Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualifications from recognised universities or institutions. The qualification requirements vary according to the post.

1. Principal

• Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. with at least 50% marks from an NCTE-recognised institution, or an eligible integrated B.Ed. qualification.
• Required experience as Principal, Vice-Principal or PGT/Lecturer in the prescribed government pay levels.
• Knowledge of computer applications.

2. Vice-Principal

• Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks.
• B.Ed. with at least 50% marks or an eligible integrated qualification.
• Required experience as Vice-Principal or PGT/Lecturer in the prescribed government pay levels.
• Knowledge of computer applications.

3. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

• Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks.
• B.Ed. with at least 50% marks or an eligible integrated teaching qualification.
• Subject-specific educational qualifications are required.
• For PGT Computer Science, M.Sc. Computer Science/IT, MCA or M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science/IT with the prescribed marks and B.Ed. qualification are accepted.

4. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

• Bachelor’s Degree or eligible integrated degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
• B.Ed. with at least 50% marks or another qualification permitted in the notification.
• CTET Paper-II qualification is required for the applicable TGT posts.
• Subject combinations must satisfy the requirements mentioned in the official notification.

5. Librarian

• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science with at least 50% marks.
• Knowledge of computer applications.

6. Primary Teacher (PRT)

Candidates must possess any one of the following prescribed qualifications:

• Class 12 with at least 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Class 12 with at least 50% marks and a four-year B.El.Ed.
• Class 12 with at least 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Special Education from an RCI-recognised institution.

CTET Paper-I qualification is mandatory.

7. Primary Teacher (Music)

• Class 12 with at least 50% marks.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Music or Performing Arts.
• Music must have been studied as the main subject throughout the degree course.
• A Diploma in Music alone is not accepted.

8. Balvatika Teacher

• Class 12 with at least 50% marks.
• English must be a subject at the Class 12 level.
• Two-year Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education, Pre-School Education or Early Childhood Care and Education, or B.Ed. (Nursery) from an NCTE-recognised institution.

Additional concessions are available for eligible AEES employees, government employees and ex-servicemen as per the notification.

Selected candidates will receive salary according to the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix.

AEES Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process consists of a Computer Based Test followed by a Skill Test or Interview, depending on the post.

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)

The examination will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

For Principal and Vice-Principal:

The examination consists of 150 questions for 150 marks.

For PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT and Balvatika Teacher:

Examination Duration: 2 Hours

There is no negative marking in the CBT.

2. Interview / Skill Test

• Principal and Vice-Principal candidates will attend an Interview.
• PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT, PRT Music and Balvatika Teacher candidates will attend a Skill Test.
• The teaching Skill Test will be conducted on a Go/No-Go basis.
• Candidates must demonstrate their teaching ability through a chalk-and-board-based test.

3. Final Merit List

For Principal and Vice-Principal, the final merit list will be prepared using CBT and Interview marks with 50:50 weightage.

For other teaching posts, candidates who qualify in the Skill Test will be considered for final empanelment based on CBT marks.

4. Medical Examination

Candidates who receive appointment offers must undergo the prescribed medical examination.
