Reservation Details

For Project Associate, the 14 vacancies include UR-8, SC-1, ST-1, OBC-3 and EWS-1.

For Project Engineer, 27 vacancies are divided as UR-14, SC-3, ST-1, OBC-7 and EWS-2.

Senior Project Engineer has 10 vacancies: UR-6, SC-1, OBC-2 and EWS-1.

Project Manager has 8 vacancies: UR-5, SC-1 and OBC-2.

C-DAC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria differ according to the post. Candidates should carefully verify their qualification and experience before applying.

1. Project Associate

The Project Associate post is suitable for fresh engineering graduates. The upper age limit is 30 years, with applicable relaxation as per rules. No post-qualification relevant experience is required.

Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics.

3. Senior Project Engineer

The Senior Project Engineer post has an upper age limit of 40 years and requires at least 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Candidates should have B.E./B.Tech with 60% or equivalent CGPA in the specified engineering disciplines, or a relevant postgraduate degree in Computer Applications with 60% or equivalent CGPA.

Relevant expertise may include Java, Spring Boot, microservices, web technologies, GIS, databases, networking, cloud deployment, software security, cryptography and Post-Quantum Cryptography.

4. Project Manager

The Project Manager post has an upper age limit of 56 years and requires a minimum of 9 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Eligible qualifications include B.E., B.Tech, M.E., M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc or Ph.D. with the prescribed 60% or equivalent CGPA requirement, in relevant disciplines.

The desired skill sets include cybersecurity, ICS/SCADA/OT systems, AI/ML security, blockchain security, project management, software technologies, networking, databases, AI and Data Science, cloud technologies and hardware security/cryptography.

C-DAC Chennai Recruitment 2026 Salary

C-DAC is offering consolidated monthly salaries according to the post and experience.

The salary offered to experienced candidates may be commensurate with their qualifications and relevant experience as per C-DAC policy.

C-DAC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process is based on an Interview, with the notification specifying Walk-in/Online Interview as applicable.

Candidates must first register their candidature through the Google Form provided by C-DAC. Eligible candidates will receive a confirmation email in the fourth week of September 2026. The tentative interview is also scheduled for the fourth week of September 2026, with the exact date communicated to eligible candidates through email.

Candidates reporting at the venue during the specified reporting time will be permitted to attend the interview. The notification states that registered candidates reporting within the prescribed reporting time will only be allowed to participate.

8. OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate, wherever applicable.

10. No Objection Certificate from the parent organization for candidates working in Central/State Government, PSUs or Government Autonomous Bodies.
11. EWS Income & Asset Certificate, wherever applicable.
12. Other relevant documents required for claiming reservation or relaxation.

Age Relaxation

The age limit, qualification and experience are determined as on the last date of registration. Relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories and other categories as per Government of India/C-DAC rules.
