CWSSU Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualifications differ according to the post. Candidates should satisfy the prescribed qualification and experience requirements in the concerned subject.
Professor
For the post of Professor, the advertisement specifies that candidates should be an eminent scholar with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject and should be actively engaged in research.

Associate Professor
Candidates applying for Associate Professor should have a good academic record along with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject.

Assistant Professor
For Assistant Professor, candidates should possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the concerned subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign University.
The advertisement provides a 5% relaxation in marks, from 55% to 50%, for applicable SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
Candidates are required to have cleared NET/CSIR-NET conducted by UGC-CSIR or SET/SLET in the concerned subject.
