ESIC Kalaburagi Recruitment 2026 – 58 Teaching Faculty & Senior Resident Posts, Walk-in Interview

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Kalaburagi has released a notification for the Walk-in Interview for engagement of Teaching Faculty and Senior Residents in various Super Specialty Departments. The engagement is on a contractual basis.

ESIC Kalaburagi is conducting recruitment for a total of 58 vacancies, consisting of Professor, Associate Professor and Senior Resident posts. The Teaching Faculty engagement will initially be for one year, extendable up to three years subject to satisfactory performance and approval, while Senior Residents will be engaged for one year.

The Document Verification/Registration will be conducted on 16 September 2026, followed by the Personal Interview on 17 September 2026 at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Kalaburagi. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility conditions can attend the walk-in interview with the filled application form, original certificates, self-attested photocopies and other required documents.

The vacancies are distributed among different Super Specialty Departments. ESIC has also stated that the number of vacancies is provisional and may increase or decrease depending on the actual vacancies.

ESIC Kalaburagi Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

The prescribed age is to be considered on the date of interview, including applicable category relaxation as stated in the notification.

Reservation Certificates

Candidates applying under OBC, SC, ST, EWS or PwD categories must possess the appropriate certificate issued by the competent authority and valid for appointment in Central Government institutions.

For OBC candidates, the notification specifically requires the updated original community certificate in the prescribed format. Candidates failing to produce the required certificate may not receive reservation benefits and may be treated as General/UR candidates, as applicable.

Selected candidates will receive consolidated remuneration as specified by ESIC.

TA and DA on TA will be applicable as mentioned in the notification.

The appointments are contractual. Selected candidates will not have any claim for regularization of their services in ESIC Hospital/Medical Institution.

ESIC Kalaburagi Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

The application fee varies according to the candidate’s category.

Candidates who are required to pay the fee must submit a Demand Draft of ₹300 in favour of “ESI Corporation” payable at “Kalaburagi”, drawn on any scheduled bank.

The Demand Draft must be submitted along with the application form at the time of the walk-in interview. Payment through any other mode will not be accepted and the fee once paid will not be refunded. The Demand Draft must be issued after the date of issue of the advertisement.

ESIC Kalaburagi Selection Process 2026

The selection will primarily be based on the Personal Interview conducted by the duly constituted Selection Board.

The selection procedure includes:

1. Submission of the prescribed application form.
2. Registration and scrutiny of applications.
3. Verification of eligibility and documents.
4. Personal Interview.
5. Medical examination for selected candidates.
6. Verification of original certificates.
7. Issue of provisional offer of appointment.
8. Final appointment after fulfilling the required conditions.

ESIC Kalaburagi Recruitment 2026 – Contract and Caution Deposit

Selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis. Faculty appointments are initially for one year and may be extended by another one or two years based on satisfactory performance and approval. Senior Residents will be engaged for one year.
